Food? Pizza, because I like pepperoni. It’s amazing.
Color? Blue. I like the way it looks on me.
Band? My favorite band is Coldplay– I just like a lot of their songs.
Memory at TJ? When I made Varsity Tennis.
Subject? Science, because Mr. Thomas is the best teacher in the world!
If you could live in any time period, what would it be? The 1980s. Between the 1980s and now there was the best technological jump ever, so it’d be cool to see how things progressed over time.
What are two random facts about you?
1. I play six different sports
2. I like cupcakes. Cupcakes are the best thing on the face of this planet. Except pizza!
Where do you want to go to college? Wisconsin. I was born a Wisconsin fan.
What’s your life philosophy? Don’t waste your life. Do what you want to do.

Memory at TJ?  Homecoming, because it was really fun. There was a lot of dancing- sometimes too much dancing – and seeing Mr. Jackson DJing was cool.
Subject?  Intro to Lit with Mrs. Gerlits
What activities are you in?  Right now, just basketball, but I’m also in football and track.
If you could live in any time period, what would it be?  The 80s, because I like their big afros and their music.
What are two random facts about you?
1.   I like cheese.
2.  I don’t like cake.
Where do you want to go to college? Tennessee. I love their colors, and most of my family is from Tennessee.
What’s your life philosophy?  Perform under pressure.

Food? Spaghetti, because it’s what my mom always makes.
TV Show? The Big Bang Theory because Sheldon is really funny.
Band? Maroon 5 because it’s a combination of newer music and old styles of music.
Memory at TJ? C-Team basketball freshman year, because I feel like we had great chemistry as a team.
Subject? Literature, because it uses the logic you need from things like math and the creative side as well.
What activities are you in? I played basketball through junior year and I’m in SkillsUSA.
If you could live in any time period, what would it be? Probably the future because it would be interesting to see the new technology.

1. My favorite color is blue

Subject? Language Arts, because it’s the easiest class for me.

If you could live in any time period, what would it be? I’d say the modern era – now – because it’s not bad.

1. I love basketball

Where do you want to go to college? I want to go somewhere in California, like USC.
What’s your life philosophy? I’d say it’s to accomplish all of my goals and be successful.

What’s your favorite…

Food? Spaghetti, because I like the texture. It’s kind of weird and funny at the same time.
TV Show? I really like Spongebob. It’s really funny, and I like to have a laugh at the end of the day.
Band? My favorite band is Nirvana. I really like their sound, the rhythms they use, and the words they say.
Memory at TJ? My favorite memory was one time when I was here for a Robotics tournament. We had some problems at the beginning but we made it work out and we almost won!
Subject? My favorite subject is math. I’ve liked math since I was a little kid because my mom is a mathematician. She’s taught me some very important stuff that I’ve learned to appreciate.
What activities are you in? I like soccer, and I was thinking about playing lacrosse. I haven’t played it, but I’ve watched it on TV and it looks like a lot of fun. Watching made me want to try it and have that experience.
If you could live in any time period, what would it be? I would choose Renaissance Italy because of all the famous people and history that I’ve seen in history books.
What are two random facts about you?
1. I’m Mexican, and I’ve only been here for two years.
2. I fell out of bed pretty much every single night when I was a little kid. For some reason I always woke up on the floor in my room.
Where do you want to go to college? It depends. I was thinking about trying to go to Mines, but if I go back to Mexico for some reason I’d have to choose a school there.
What’s your life philosophy? My life philosophy is measure twice, cut once.

What’s your favorite…
Food? Anything with salt on it. I just like salt. It’s always good. Actually, enchiladas. Enchiladas are really good.
TV Show? I don’t really watch TV, but if I had to pick a show it would be Castle.
Band? My favorite band right now is Faded Paper Figures. No one’s really heard of them yet. I’m original.
Memory at TJ? All of the memories from theater, just hanging out. One in specific would be when Kellsie and Sarah told me I was smelly numerous times. That’s a really good memory of mine.
Subject? My favorite subject is biology. I like the way Mr. Thomas teaches it, and I’ve always been interested in biology.
What activities are you in? I’m in theater, I swim, and I eat a lot.
If you could live in any time period, what would it be? I would live in the Egyptian time, so I could chill out in the pyramids. I feel like it was a lot cooler back then, and there were a lot of cats.
What are two random facts about you?
1. I have a strange addiction to saltine crackers.
2. I like to wear really intense, crazy socks and pocket shirts.

Where do you want to go to college? CSU, because it’s close by, but not too close by. I’d also like to go somewhere in California, because I really like California.
What’s your life philosophy? As long as you eat a lot of food, you can’t go wrong.

Food: Probably Chinese food, because I just think it tastes good.
TV Show: Big Bang Theory, because I think it’s really funny.
Band: I don’t really have one, but one of my favorites is Of Monsters and Men. They have a unique sound.
Memory at TJ: My friends and I had linked our arms and we tried to walk through the door, but we got stuck!
Subject: My favorite core subject is Language Arts because I like to read.
What activities are you in:  None right now, but I’m thinking of doing choir in the second semester.
If you could live in any time period, what would it be:  The 60s, because I really like the music and the style.
What are two random facts about you:
1. I have a little brother who is four.
2. I can speak two languages and I’m learning a few others.
Where do you want to go to college: In Denver, either DU or Metro. Out of state, probably Stanford.

What’s your favorite…

Food: Chocolate, because it tastes good
TV Show: 
The Voice, because I like how the people sing and it’s fun to watch.
One Direction. They’re really the only band I know of.
What are you looking forward to at TJ:  I’m looking forward to basketball season because I haven’t played in two years because I tore my ACL twice.
Subject:  Math with Mrs. McLennan. I like the way she teaches, and I’ve liked math since I was small.
What activities are you in:  For now, nothing, really. I’ve been going to basketball’s weightlifting sessions.
 If you could live in any time period, what would it be:  The 90s, because I want to see the difference between the 90s and now.
 What are two random facts about you:

  1. I’m from Bosnia.
  2. My cousin is a sophomore here.

Where do you want to go to college:  I’d like to go to the University of North Carolina. I liked it when I started to watch college sports, so it kind of just stuck with me.
What’s your life philosophy:  If you respect people they’ll respect you, and you can pass through anything that comes at you in life.

What’s your favorite…

Food: My favorite food is from Ghengis Grill. It’s a Mongolian barbecue restaurant that’s really good.
TV Show: The Crossfit competitions are pretty sweet to watch, and I like to fulfill the stereotype that Mr. Poole puts me in.
Band: The Police, because they are only three people and they create some of the best music ever, and their drummer, Stewart Copeland, is one of the best drummers ever.
Memory @ TJ: Going to the volleyball games and getting super hyped because it’s really cool to see how much enthusiasm so many people can have towards our school.
Subject: AP Environmental Science. It interests me in the fact that it deals with different environmental impacts that are important within our time period.
Activities: Varsity Soccer, TJ Ambassador, former swimmer and track member.
If you could live in any time period what would it be: Between 1970 and 1980, because the Police were big back then, and I think it would be really funny to go back and steal Stewart Copeland’s job because I know how to play all their songs. Or, it could be fun to grow up in the same time period as Poole, because I would just own him on a daily basis.
Random Facts:

  1. I speak really good French.
  2. I play three instruments  (drums, piano, and guitar) by ear.

Where’s College: My prospective university right now is Florida Gulf Coast University in Fort Meyers, Florida, and my dream school is Yale University.
