The Volleyball Team Continues With Their Wins After Beating North and Kennedy

On Tuesday October 5, 2010 The TJ Volleyball ladies went up against rival North winning 3-0. The ladies came back strong once again on Thursday October 7, 2010 beating Kennedy with another triumphant 3-0 win.
The Volleyball Ladies have been working hard this season keeping up with their well known history of victories and this week they proved once again why they’re the best.
On Tuesday, the Volleyball ladies made the North match look as easy as breathing. They tried new and different plays and found that some worked really well while others didn’t.
The ladies faced Kennedy on Thursday and although they won all three matches, the first match was a wake- up call for them since they almost lost. However, by the second match they were focused and worked as a team, which led them to their victory.
The Volleyball team is looking forward to their next match against South on Thursday October 14 because a win will allow them the opportunity to host districts. “I expect us to play our hearts out and win so we can have the opportunity to host districts,” said Senior and Team Captain Kira Rodriguez.
