Luke DeGregori: Editor-in-Chief, News Editor
Luke DeGregori is a Senior at TJ who is very excited for this upcoming year in newspaper. Luke loves to write, play violin, and listen to music. Presently Luke works as a dishwasher at Adam’s Mystery Playhouse, but soon he plans to go to CU Boulder and major in astrophysics.

Anna Becker is a senior at TJ and is the Community Editor on the Journal staff. Becker’s passions lie between writing and soccer. After high school she hopes to pursue her passions and continue her education. Becker says she will embrace her senior year and go out with a bang!

Anna Romero: Living & Arts Editor
An avid connoisseur of indie and alternative rock, Anna Romero can often be quoted as saying, “I liked [band] before they were cool,” and, “That’s so mainstream.” She has other interests too, but really she’s best known for being Hipster Superwoman. You probably haven’t heard of her, she’s pretty obscure.

Hayden Johnson: Sports Editor
Hayden Johnson is a current senior sports reporter on the Journal staff. This is his first year on the staff and he is currently the Sport’s Editor. Hayden likes to relax with his seven cats and watch romantic comedies on the weekends. He also enjoys baking cupcakes for prison inmates.

Senior Mia Nogueira is the new photo editor for the TJ Journal. It is her second year on the staff, and her third year practicing the art of photography. In her spare time, she enjoys watching movies, going to concerts, and cliff diving. She is excited for the new year.

Michael Kutz is a senior at Thomas Jefferson High School and wrote for the TJ Journal in his junior year. He has a taste for classic movies and new cinematic gems alike, making Living & Arts a genre he is glad to write for. He also likes classic cars.

Katie Boyer: Reporter
Katie Boyer is one of the youngest seniors at TJ at only 16 years old. Born in Lima, Peru, she came to Denver, Colorado at age 6. She writes for News, Living and Arts but her true passion is photography. Katie also enjoys ceramics, turtles, soccer, screamo music and smiling.

Ed Gloor: Reporter
Ed Gloor was born in Colorado. In the future he hopes to attend the Colorado University at Boulder and be a part of the school’s new communications program.  He also wouldn’t mind attending Syracuse University in New York. Ed is also very interested in photography, music, and the beautiful game of soccer.

Senior Sean Gonzalez is a nerd with four Advanced Placement classes this year, in hopes to become a teacher. Playing guitar for seven years has allowed for Sean to play advanced guitar, such as Protest The Hero. Sean enjoys Lady Gaga and relaxing with his girlfriend on weekends, Kersten Buck.
