TJ Girls volleyball gets a big win against the Rebels.

v-ball-web.jpg    The Thomas Jefferson Girls’ volleyball team cleanly beat the South Rebels three games to none on Tuesday night.
Despite the lopsided match score, every game was very close. In the first game, the Spartans won by only four points with a final score of 25-21.  The second game was even closer, as TJ pulled out a 25-23 win. In the last and final game, the Spartans and Rebels battled to a final score of 25-22.
Up to this game, TJ and South were tied for first place in the Denver Prep League.  Now that the girls have beat their biggest rivals, it looks as if the Spartans are the best in the city.  The Volleyball program has sure turned the season around after a rough start at the beginning of the year.  It looks as if the girls will be able to make a strong run in the playoffs, looking really good coming out of the regular season.
